Every Borders customer who pre-orders a copy of J K Rowling’s Tales of Beedle and the Bard (published December 4th) will receive a free copy of both Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean and Jonathan Stroud’s The Amulet of Samarkand. (Trivia factoid: Justin and Jonathan went to the very same school in St Albans, Hertfordshire, and were only a year or so apart.)
The full new edition of Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean - with a double cover featuring graphic novel style artwork by Kev Walker - will be published in March 2009, alongside Black Heart. However, just for this promotion, the publisher has produced a one-off single cover version and its a great way for those who’ve not yet experienced Vampirates to see what all the fuss is about and get a taster of the new cover look.
