Lady Lola Lockwood
If you thought there were only two Vampirate ships – The Nocturne and The Blood Captain – get ready for a surprise. A new ship of Vampirates is sailing the seven seas. It’s called The Vagabond and it has an all-female Vampirate crew, captained by the deliciously devilish Lady Lola Lockwood.
Born an English aristocrat, Lady Lockwood was always a rebel and demonstrated an early inclination towards villainy by becoming a Highwaywoman. Now, she has taken to the oceans and, although her ship is relatively small compared to those of her rivals, the same cannot be said for her ambitions. As the song goes, “whatever Lola wants, Lola gets”.
Lady Lola sees herself as something of a connoisseur of blood. She rarely feeds directly on the blood of her victims but has a winery on-board The Vagabond, where the blood is drained, bottled and stored in her cellar until she fancies a tipple in one of her treasured Venetian goblets.
Lady Lola is also known as “Black Heart”. She and all her crew have black heart-shaped tattoos around their eyes. But, as black as her tattoo is, we suspect that her heart is a whole lot darker. It’s only a matter of time before she and Sidorio meet and when they do things should get very interesting indeed.
