Event Specific Competition Terms & Conditions:
Each event competition runs for 2 weeks from the date of the event. The following Terms & Conditions apply to each specific event competition.
- The promoter of this competition is Simon and Schuster UK, 1st floor, 222 Gray’s Inn road, London, WC1X 8HB.
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only, excluding employees or agents of Simon and Schuster UK or anyone else connected to competition and/or their immediate family.
- Only one entry per household is allowed. Only entries made online via the Captain’s blog on vampirates.co.uk will be accepted. All submitted entries become the property of Simon and Schuster UK.
- No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
- Simon and Schuster UK does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or illegal entries.
- All entries for the competition must be received no later than 2 weeks of the event.
- 1 winner will be selected; at random from the correct entries.
- The judges decision is final.
- The prize winner will receive confirmation that they have won a prize via e-mail. Winners must reply to that email within [7] days of receipt. If no response is received by Simon and Schuster UK within [7] days, Simon and Schuster UK reserves the right to select other winners.
- Personal Information about prize winners will be shared with Simon and Schuster UK agents to the extent necessary for prizes to be delivered to the prize winners.
- All prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for any prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable, Simon and Schuster UK reserves the right to substitute a prize which it may determine as being of equal value.
- Entrants accept that if they win, Simon and Schuster UK will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name for the purposes of announcing the winners of this competition and they may be required to participate in post-event publicity.
- Simon and Schuster UK has arranged this competition in good faith, but cannot accept any liability relating to the prize draw or prizes offered.
